What to know about your iPhone 11
The iPhone 11 display
The iPhone 11 has a 6.1-inch LCD display. LCD screens usually show damage as dark patches, light bleeding from the edges, a dim backlight, or dead touch zones. The glass and LCD are bonded together, so the whole display assembly is replaced as one part.
Face ID and sensors
Face ID sits in the top of the phone, not in the display. We carefully move the earpiece and sensor parts from your old screen to the new one, so Face ID, the proximity sensor, and calls work as before.
Apple parts notice
On newer iPhones, iOS lists replaced parts in Settings > General > About. If a screen isn't Apple-sourced, it may show as an "Unknown Part". It's a notice only and doesn't stop the screen working, and we'll explain the difference between grades before we start.
