The iPhone SE (2nd gen) has a 4.7-inch LCD display. LCD screens usually show damage as dark patches, light bleeding from the edges, a dim backlight, or dead touch zones. The glass and LCD are bonded together, so the whole display assembly is replaced as one part.
Keeping Touch ID
The home button on the iPhone SE (2nd gen) is paired to the phone's logic board, so it can't be swapped for a new one. We transfer your original home button to the new screen, which keeps Touch ID working.
Apple parts notice
On newer iPhones, iOS lists replaced parts in Settings > General > About. If a screen isn't Apple-sourced, it may show as an "Unknown Part". It's a notice only and doesn't stop the screen working, and we'll explain the difference between grades before we start.
